New version of blade and sorcery mod loader install#My goal is a complete guide to save other people time that they can have a complete base list of mods for ultrarealistic graphics and challenging, nextgen gameplay, knowing how much these mods will affect on performance and in what order they should install the mods, which are compatible and which are not, etc. New version of blade and sorcery mod loader mod#Is there a mod launcher or something? People keep referencing it but I cant find it anywhere. This guide is a brother of my Skyrim LE graphics and gameplay guides, in a single one - and a result of many months of modding Skyrim. New version of blade and sorcery mod loader download#Not to be rude but u do know that many games have steam workshop and also you can download mods from nexus/ModDB? So we tried to think of a neutral way that everyone could play with mods, which are a huge part of the game. If you don't care, consider how you would feel if mods were for Oculus users only. Originally posted by The Baron:The reason for no workshop is because it would lock non-Steam players out of mods. We tried to come up with the solution to be best for all players, but you can't please everyone. So it would be great if Steam workshop worked for non-Steam games, but it doesnt. And the reason for not hosting on discord (besides then there would be no mod manager option) is for copyright concerns. It also was a good choice because there was the option of vortex mod manager for those who want that, or you can choose to not use a mod manger just as easy. So Nexus seemed good because modders could earn money there too and it is also popular thanks to Skyrim mods. Originally we wanted to host mods on curseforge so that modders could earn money for their mods, but we couldn't get hosted on curseforge because the game was too small at the time. So we tried to think of a neutral way that everyone could play with mods, which are a huge part of the game.Īnd the reason for Nexus is because it is one of the biggest and most well known mod repositories around. ![]() The reason for no workshop is because it would lock non-Steam players out of mods. It will work with them as expected after that, provided, of course, it is configured correctly on your system. The way to sidestep this issue if you prefer to use Vortex is to download mods manually and then use "install from file" option to add downloaded mods to Vortex list. Which is not entirely unexpected as they only added B&S support recently. Vortex seems to be a bit unreliable when it comes to downloading B&S mods right now. Thanks for explaining but i all ready did all of this :D i just dont know why the stuff doesnt show up when i download it with vortex only when i download them manually but still ty for ur time Most mods which were uploaded or updated after 1st of Jul should be U6-compatible. New version of blade and sorcery mod loader free#Feel free to ask if you will have any questions.Įdit: keep in mind, some mods out there are not compatible with the latest version of B&S(which is U6), so if some mods would not work, it might be due to compatibility issues. you can use Nexus Vortex [to manage mods or just download and install them manually, it's very easy. Originally posted by Siilk:B&S is using Nexus [for hosting mods. ![]() New version of blade and sorcery mod loader manual#Yea the thing is i got the vortex and i have been downloading mods with nexus for about 3years but when i install mods with it the things just dont appear but i tried downloading one manually and it worked so i think ill stay with manual downloading bdw thanks for the info about steam workshop didnt know that i forgot that oculus has a different interface Originally posted by Chaunsey:you didnt look into it.but its not working. One thing to take note of, a lot of the older mods dont work with version 6.3 so when you browse the mods i wouldnt download anything that was uploaded, or last updated before july, everything after july 1st or so should be good to go. Its super simple, go to you can either download manually, and then put the mods in the "streaming assets" folder of your B&S file, or, download the vortex mod manager, install it, and use it to one click download and install the mods straight from the website. Nexus mods can be accessed by everyone, takes care of the hosting and web services etc, and already have a program that will manage and install mods without kospy having to waste a bunch of time implementing it. This has already been discussed plenty, there will be no steam workshop, because that leaves out all the oculus users playing through oculus home, and any other possible future platforms. You didnt look into it.but its not working. ![]()
